A WORD
FROM THE PASTOR
We are a people of God's Kingdom, put on earth as Ambassadors of
the Kingdom, with a specific assignment/mandate…bring in the
Kingdom of God, "On earth as it is in heaven." In the Kingdom of
God in order to live you die. In order to receive you give, in
order to be lifted up you lie low and not be on the down low.
In Matthew 6:33 Jesus says, "Seek
first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these
things shall be added unto you." If we seek His Kingdom,
we'll find that it comes with everything we need. In the Kingdom
of God there is no sickness, there is no bitterness,
hopelessness, lack or any of a number of things we experience
here on earth.
So, if we are ambassadors of the
Kingdom of God and it has everything we need; why is there lack,
why are drugs, sex and rebellion running rampant among our
children? Why is there such sickness and disease all around us?
ANSWERS
- If we know we are Kingdom
Ambassadors, we are not on our job.
- We do not know who we are and
what we are supposed to be doing.
As God’s ambassadors, it is our
job daily is to rise above hatred, envy, jealousy, weariness,
compromise, discouragement; busyness, fear and purpose to tear
down the walls, strongholds we know are not a part of the
Kingdom of God. Daily we must renew our minds, leave the past in
the past, release the junk, and the crunk, people, places and
things that truly keep us in a state of lack, disobedience,
danger, destruction.
First we must know who we are and
purpose in having a kingdom mentality, “GET THE MIND RIGHT” that
says; “I am God's beloved, His son/daughter. He appointed me as
His ambassador on this earth and no one will mess with my
Heavenly Father. I see His Kingdom come on earth NOW, and I am a
part of bringing that kingdom in.
Second, we have to obey the will
of God. It is Satan’s design to "squeeze us into the mold of
this world" and deny God. It is the plan of God that we "be not
conformed to this world, but rather transformed by the renewing
of our minds." We don't want to live for this world anymore. We
simply want to be inhabited by God, and be controlled by His
Spirit. We want God to control our thoughts, our choices, and
our actions. We want to be a body indwelt by, and controlled by
Jesus Christ.
When He is in control we walk in
our Kingdom authority. All the foolishness is set aside and we
do it His way or no way. We are relinquishing control of our
life to God....in every facet of our being so it has to be good.
Thy will be done… on earth as it is in Heaven. That's the prayer
that will change the course of your life. Pray it every day and
come increasingly to mean it every day, and you know what…your
life will never be the same.
